Part Time Archivists | Part Time Forgers is the first release by Necessary Unfold, a newly formed label and collective based in Thessaloniki, Greece. Bringing together the artists featured on the compilation, it marks the launch of a shared platform emerging from the city’s steadily growing leftfield electronic scene.

Spanning 12 tracks, the release maintains a unified tone, nodding to the electronic scene of the 1990s. IDM, breaks, electro and acid/deep house form its backbone, not as revival exercises but as active references filtered through a contemporary production lens.
